SENAY AKMUT

From when I was very little I was aware of the many dimensions we live in. But one day at my grandparents' house, at the age of five, I decided that I would choose to live in this world only. It was my expression of solidarity and commonality with my human tribe and even more so, it was my choice to fully experience this physical realm—the “real” plane. 

I closed myself off from fully taking on the multi-dimensional experiences of unity consciousness that I did not yet have words to describe. I was unaware at the time that my lack of vocabulary was natural. 

Nothing defines a spiritual path as a personal denial. I insisted on not listening to the gentle prodding of the universe. I intentionally ignored religious studies, symbolism, and my intuitive callings. I turned my back on formal belief systems and the universe continued to guide me. Around my early thirties, a cosmic and spiritual crisis caused me to accept my connectedness. Over the next 15 years, I learned to embrace my truth. I followed clear and direct communications from the spirit. Some people call these confirmations miracles. I call it to communicate through energy.

I am a mystic in service to transpersonal wellness. The foundation of my practice is the Sufi tradition called sohbet/conversation. Two seekers, loving and respecting each other, regularly meet to share their experiences and wisdom. The pair may be a master and a disciple or two masters. 

My practice is esoteric, shamanic, and intuitive. I utilize ancient and modern holistic models from psycic maping to holotropic breathwork. I welcome all ages and belief systems, and I treasure my companion. 

People often come to me during a challenging shift or realignment in their lives. The practice sessions expand to cast a light on specific areas of concern: they strengthen the spiritual passages and bring clarity to the paths of fellow travelers. 

I am grateful for the guidance from my family, children, team of angels and ancestors, shamans, CIIS, and Ph.D. John Heartfelt, Ph.D. Kathy Simon, Ph.D. Mary Koithan, Minnecoujou Yankton Lakota, and the vibrational language of nature. They have all shaped me. 
I feel fortunate to be from Turkey, a culture of the East and West harmonized into one. It is there I began to shape my understanding of Divine Unity. It is there I met mysticism and its poetics, as a toddler. Divine Unity is the philosophical basis of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi's poetry: The One Divine Reality is the source, manifestation, and point of return for the All. 

I have since learned from many enlightened beings and experts in their respective fields while I refined my approach.
